Turnip Slaw

¼ cup mayonnaise
1½ tablespoons sour cream
1 teaspoon vinegar (preferably tarragon-flavored)
½ teaspoon prepared mustard
½ teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon celery seed
1/8 teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon chopped fresh dill (or ¼ teaspoon dried)
½ pound turnips, peeled and shredded (2 cups)
Dash of salt

Stir together all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well and refrigerate until needed.

Serves 2 to 3.
