From the "Kids' Corner" - Radish & Apple Salad

Kids will like the sweet, tangy, creamy flavor of this easy salad.

1/4 pound white or red radishes
2 small, tart, crisp apples
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 medium (6 to 8 inches) cucumber

1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon pepper (optional)

Cut radishes into julienne pieces. Core and cut apples into thin slices. Toss with lemon juice to prevent darkening. Combine with radishes. Peel cucumber, cut in half, and scoop out seeds. Cut into 2-inch long julienne pieces. Add to radishes and apples. For dressing, stir together the sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, dill weed, salt, sugar and pepper. Toss and serve.
