Sage "Smashed" Potatoes

Posted by Carole Koch

Boil 1 1/3 pounds of potatoes until tender. Drain. Shake in pan over low heat 1 minute; remove from heat and “smash,” leaving potatoes lumpy. Mix in 1½ teaspoons butter, ½ cup low fat milk, 1 teaspoon chopped fresh sage, and salt and pepper to taste.

Serves 4.
