From the "Kid's Corner" - Yummy Mashed Kohlrabi
Prepare kohlrabi as you would mashed potatoes: Cut bulbs into chunks and then steam or boil until tender, about 15 minutes. Mash into a puree, add milk or cream and butter, to taste. Season with salt.
If the kids are still reluctant to try it, sprinkle some of their favorite cheese on top...or try camouflaging them by adding to ordinary mashed potatoes!
