Easy Mashed Kohlrabi
This recipe is great for kids to try instead of mashed potatoes. They will also enjoy doing the mashing!
Trim the leaves off the kohlrabi bulb, slice it into two or four pieces and steam or boil until tender, about 15 minutes. Mash the cooked kohlrabi into a puree, add a little milk and/or butter, and salt to taste. Yum!
Serves 1 or 2, depending on the size of the bulb.
