Sage Tea

Posted by Carole Koch

Sage is one of those herbs that has been used to cure a multitude of ills. Consumed in the form of tea, sage is very soothing and quieting to the nerves. Sage tea has been used as an antidote for sore throats, cold sores, fevers and congestion. (Note: Do not use sage if pregnant or epileptic.)

To make sage tea, steep 2 or 3 leaves in one cup of hot water. Strain and add one teaspoon of powdered ginger.
