From the "Kids' Corner" - Beans with Sage

Posted by Carole Koch

Sage combines wonderfully with all kinds of beans. Try cutting some sage into thin strips and heating them in olive oil or butter. Then toss with your favorite beans and season with salt and pepper to taste. White beans are especially good prepared in this way, but you could also use green beans. To add even more flavor, mix in some sautéed onions, garlic and/or chopped tomatoes.
