Cabbage
Easy Sautéed Chinese Cabbage

2 tablespoons peanut oil
1 head Chinese cabbage, sliced into thin strips
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 slices fresh gingerroot, minced
1/4 cup water
Heat oil over medium high heat. When hot, add cabbage. Stir constantly for 5 minutes. Add salt, pepper and ginger. Mix well. Add water and cover pan tightly. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 10 minutes. Uncover. Stir until water is almost evaporated and cabbage is tender.
Serves 6.
