Easy Brussels Sprouts & Chestnuts

Posted by Carole Koch

This is a great side dish for roast beef!

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
8 ounces fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
Handful of whole chestnuts, chopped
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Heat the oil in a skillet. Add the sprouts and cook for three minutes, stirring continuously. Add the chopped garlic and chestnuts. Continue to stir for another two minutes. Season with salt and black pepper and serve immediately.

Serves 1 or 2.
