Italian-Style Broccoli and/or Cauliflower

Sorry, no specific measurement here...just use your best judgment.

Cook the broccoli and/or cauliflower until almost done. Drain well. In a large frying pan melt butter with olive oil. Sauté minced garlic and then add the broccoli and/or cauliflower to the pan. Generously cover with Italian seasoned bread crumbs and grated Italian cheese, such as Romano or Parmesan. Turn the heat to medium-high and cook, stirring often. Bread crumbs will start to brown and stick a bit. Scrape bottom of pan to prevent sticking. Cook until crunchy. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
