Crisp Broccoli Salad

Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
Salad:
small red onion, chopped
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 head broccoli, cut into florets
1 cup seasoned croutons
4 to 5 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
Combine the dressing ingredients in a small bowl. Mix well. Set aside.
Place the salad ingredients in a large bowl. Drizzle dressing over and toss gently.
