Basil

From the "Kid's Corner" - Basil

A good way to get your kids to eat basil is to add it to other dishes:

Of course, it is an essential ingredient in tomato-based pasta sauce - so add it to your favorite homemade version.

Fresh basil is also excellent added to pizza toppings. Rather than using the leaves whole, chop it into smaller pieces, so the flavor won’t be as prominent for the kids.

Fresh, chopped basil is also a good addition to mashed potatoes!
