Mark Your Calendar
August, 2006! By this date, all
school districts that are part of federally-funded school
meal and snack programs must have a WELLNESS POLICY in place.
This policy must include nutritional standards for ALL foods
served in schools and PARENTS and THE PUBLIC MUST be involved
in the development of this policy. Click here
